The 16th century manor house added to the charm and ambiance of the stay. The location of the B&B was ideal, just a short distance from Wexford Town Centre and Johnstown Castle. During our short tour of the south east coast of Ireland, we stumbled upon Rathaspeck Manor - a truly hidden gem. Our bedroom, "Father Albert's" room, was tastefully decorated, and the ensuite bathroom was just as impressive with its high standard fittings. The bed itself was luxurious and comfortable, comparable to a 5-star hotel. Despite facing a main road leading to Wexford, the manor's peaceful location within the spacious grounds and golf course ensured a tranquil stay. Betty, the friendly host, went above and beyond, offering to drive us to Wexford and even making a dinner reservation for us. Breakfast was a delicious treat, and Betty and her husband provided invaluable local knowledge. We only wish we had more time to fully enjoy their warm hospitality. I highly recommend this wonderful country retreat.
